In my home, i usually watch my children play their Leap Pad Tablet for several hour. It’s hard for us if we always buy a lot of batteries or to recharge some batteries again and again. Maybe, there a lot of people have the same issue like that. 

I read in several blogs that we can buy Leap Pad AC Adapter as alternative power source. There are slot for AC Adapter in our LeapPad. We can easily to connect our LeapPad to AC outlet with AC Adapter. 

But we should remember to avoid the use of batteries together.  This AC Adapter has specs: 120V AC-60 Hz 16W 9V DC. Also This AC adapter are compatible with some LeapFrog’s product like Leapster Explorer, Leap Frog, Leapster Learning Game System, Leapster L-Max and Leapster TV. Mostly, the kids need to play near an AC outlet with the cord pugged in. But this AC Adapter has a long cord so you don’t have to worry about that. With  a long cord, it’s very helpful to keep a long distance between your childen and your AC outlet. Your children can easily play in their chair or table. The cord stays into the LeapPad nicely and doesn’t fall out. With this AC Adapter make our kids plays their LeapPad for several hour. But as a parent, we should set limits for our childen to play their LeapPad.
